1. The last month has gone by so quickly!  The puppies are so adorable and developing little personalities.

THREE WEEK OLD PUPPIES AT PLAY

Play time soon turned into feeding time.  Miko is an excellent little mother, and keeps her little ones well fed.  Poco is our male Shih Tzu, he keeps careful watch over the babies.  We call him the little shepherd. Even though he isn't the father to this litter, he treats them with such gentle care and concern!

                 The babies are three weeks old today!  They are really starting to get playful, and love to be out of their kennel more and more.

THE PUPPIES ARE A WEEK OLD!

The puppies are already a week old, and they have all doubled their birth weight.  Miko and all four of the puppies are doing great! When looking at them cuddled up with mommy, I thought, "they all look like chocolate candy bars."  That is when I decided what their names should be.  Baby girl #1 is Violet.  Little boy #2 is Charlie.  The second tiny boy is Augustus (Gus for short), and last but not least is baby girl #4, and her name is Veruca.  They are all so adorably yummy!

First tiny girl's birth weight 5.2 oz.

Second puppy born is a boy, his birthweight is 5.7 oz.

Puppy #3 is another boy. Birth weight is 5.3 oz.

Puppy #4 is another girl. Her birth weight is 5.7 oz.

Mama and babies are all doing Great!
