Merry Christmas Baxter

I have attached a picture of Baxter's first Christmas.  He got a new bed, teddy bear, and some new treats that he thinks are pretty great. Erik picked out an adorable stuffed bug that is always around and ready for squeaking.

He finished puppy school and has really learned the value of getting treats for good behavior.  I had to switch him to a low calorie one because I was worried that he was going to gain too much rate.  He is still a little monster at times, but he's still loved and adored.  He's doing so much better at potty training.  He was pretty stubborn there for awhile, but he's finally figuring it out.

Thank you for the updates Tonya. He is such a cutie! I hope you and your family all have a joyous new year.

Sweet Lucy B. Two years old!

I was just sent this new picture of cute little Lucy B.  She was born in March of 2010, so she is almost two years old now.  She looks a lot like her mama Miko.  Absolutley Adorable!

Hi, Claudia!

I thought I'd check in with just a few pictures of Baxter (or his skills) at a little over six months old. 

He still loves his bunny and is cuddling with his latest friend "Road Kill Racoon."  He picked that out at Petsmart.  If we say, "Go get your Racoon!" he'll run around until he finds it.  I just found him dead asleep on the bunny with his leg wrapped around the Racoon like a little kid his his teddy bear.

He is a four-legged paper shredder so we have to be careful about leaving any bathroom doors open or napkins anywhere close.   He loves our shoes so we have to chase him around to save them from certain doom.  Sometimes, though, I snap a picture first.

Five month old Ruca

This is Ruca {aka Veruca} at 5 months old.  She is spending the weekend with us!  It is so much fun to have her around again!

I just got these new pictures of Charlie (Now know as Baxter) at his new home.  Tonya, his new mom, tells me he is the perfect little puppy and a great new family member.

Charlie has been adopted by the Edvalson family!  I think they are a perfect match.  Charlie has a new best friend named Eric.  I can tell they will be good buddies.  Thanks Eric for being such a wonderful new friend for Charlie.

Charlie comes back home

Little Charlie needed to come back home to me because his new mama has been in and out of the hospital with heart problems.  We wish you a full recovery MaryAnn.

Charlie is now available for adoption.    He is 12 weeks old, and just an adorable tiny sweet little ball of fur!  He is so playful and loves to give kisses.  He is doing very well with potty training.

Home with their new families

 Ten quick weeks, and the puppies are all going home with their new families.  We get to keep Veruca (Ruca) for a couple of more weeks while her new family gets ready to take her home.

8 weeks old

I can't believe they are already 8 weeks old.  They have been such a joy.  I am going to miss these little darlings when the leave for their new homes in a couple of weeks.  

 Little Gus has been adopted by the Brooks Family!  He will be living in Las Vegas.

 Charlie bug will be going to Wyoming to live with his new mommy Maryann.

 Tiny Violet has been adopted by Niaz and Moon, and will be living in Salt Lake City.

Little Miss Cuddle Bug Veruca is going to live in Salt Lake City with the Mangelson family.

HOORAY! WE FINALLY GOT TO GO OUTSIDE!

We finally had a warm day, and got to discover the great outdoors!  Notice our concern when an airplane flies overhead.  Charlie made a made dash for Whitney's lap.  We are seven and a half weeks old here.

The puppies are getting so animated and playful.  Potty training on the potty pads is going very well.  They now all weigh 2 pounds and enjoying eating puppy food and still nursing on Miko.

SIX WEEKS OLD

They get cuter every day!  They are all currently under 2 pounds, and healthy happy little puppies.
I don't get much done during the day because all I want to do is play with them!  I LOVE these sweet little babies!

THEY WERE VERY EXCITED TO TAKE TIME OUT FROM PLAYING TO EXPERIENCE THEIR FIRST TASTE OF PUPPY FOOD.  THEY REALLY LIKED IT...YUMMY!

THREE WEEK OLD PUPPIES AT PLAY

Play time soon turned into feeding time.  Miko is an excellent little mother, and keeps her little ones well fed.  Poco is our male Shih Tzu, he keeps careful watch over the babies.  We call him the little shepherd. Even though he isn't the father to this litter, he treats them with such gentle care and concern!
